Introducing our friendly staff
Our Manager, Mrs Karen Robson, has been in charge of the home since 1992 and has a Registered Managers qualification. Karen keeps up to date with all new regulations and training courses available and has good IT skills which help residents to use the homes e-mail and Skype facilities. She also uses on line training modules as a constant way of improving staff training and care standards. Karen has an ‘open door’ policy and welcomes any suggestions in order to improve the running of the home.
There are 14 support staff; all the care staff have NVQ2 and NVQ3 qualification.The manager of the home is committed to maintaining a good standard of care and all the staff are kept up to date with mandatory training. They all attend a through interview and CRB check prior to employment; new staff complete their induction training in accordance with strict guidelines.
